How does Lake Effect Loyalty work?

At check-in our friendly budtenders will ask you to provide your valid ID. To get you signed up for Lake Effect Loyalty, they will ask you for an email address and a phone number to complete your reward account registration. Then you’ll be signed up to earn points with every pre-tax dollar spent at Lake Effect VT. $1 spent = 1 point earned.

On your birthday, we’ll send you a code for a Birthday Blunt for a buck. That’s right – you’ll get a birthday reward from your local Vermont dispensary!

You can trade in your points toward rewards at different tiers! You can use your rewards with your next purchase, or save them up to get a bigger reward.

How do I sign up for Lake Effect Loyalty?

We automatically enroll everyone who provides an email address & phone number during check-in so you don’t need to do a thing! You can also sign up for Lake Effect Loyalty by following this link.

Why do you need my phone number?

Your phone number is the unique identifying number that links your customer profile in our point-of-sale system to your Rewards Wallet. It’s the only way we can look you up. We don’t have any plans to text but if we ever do you’ll be able to opt-out of texting.

Can I earn free weed?

Sadly, no. We’re not allowed to give away free cannabis per Vermont state law. But we can get you very close to free weed!

Why do I have to pay a dollar for the reward items?

Since we’re not allowed to give away free cannabis, we have to charge you a buck to keep it legal.

How do I redeem my points?

Ask our friendly budtenders and they can redeem your rewards when you shop in-store or when you come in to pick up an online order. Please inquire before you pay for your order. Rewards can only be applied to your order by our budtenders in-store.

How do I get a Birthday Blunt?

We’ll automatically send you an email on your birthday letting you know we added a Birthday Blunt reward to your rewards wallet. Since you have to be 21 years old or older to and show your ID to shop at Vermont dispensaries, we’ll have your birthday on file as part of your customer account.

Are there restrictions for Lake Effect Loyalty?

Yes, there are some restrictions. Here’s the fine print: You must be 21+ with valid ID to shop at Lake Effect VT and to participate in Lake Effect Loyalty. Reward points are earned on post-discount(s), pre-tax spending. Reward items are subject to availability. Reward Points do not expire, cannot be transferred and have no cash value. Lake Effect VT retains the right to modify this rewards program at any time without notice, although we will do our best to communicate any changes in a timely fashion. No cash refunds will be issued for reward items. Additional restrictions may apply. *VT Vapor rewards excludes VT Vapor Live Hash Rosin carts.
